Where do we begin . . . I guess at the start. I met Brendan two years after college. We were both working in the same building. I had a friend who was working at his law firm that I would meet for lunch a few times a month. I had seen Brendan a few times in the elevator but it was fate the day we all had lunch as a group. I sat next to him and we talked the whole time. He asked me out the next day.

We have been dating for two years and Brendan asked me to marry him last week. He was so nervous. He made me a wonderful dinner and then asked me right after dessert. It was such a beautiful setting with the  candlelight and music. I was so happy.

I have met most of Brendan's family since most everyone is local. I am so excited to introduce Brendan to the rest of my family when they visit from California.
